The de-tensioned position is the one where the lever with the spring positioner is on the left side of the mechanical
stop, as shown in the following image.
To change the state of the blade, simply retract the spring-loaded knob and move the lever to the desired position.
Cutting conditions
The factors described below can significantly alter the quality of the cut.
Raw material capacity
For optimal trimming, it is recommended to load the barrel between 40% - 60% of its capacity, as shown in the ima-
ge below. An insufficient quantity of product can cause high deterioration of the flowers and a heterogeneous cut.
Operating time
It is very important that the raw material to be processed remains for the necessary time inside the barrel for a
homogeneous cut because otherwise it will deteriorate further. As a general recommendation, the flowers should
remain in the barrel for 10 to15 minutes to obtain the desired cut. It should be taken into account that the opera-
ting time will depend on the selected on the variety, size and moisture content of the flowers.
