electric shock. If the power cord is damaged (e.g. it is cut or its insulation is melted), immedi-
ately unplug it from the wall socket and return it to an authorised service facility. NEVER use
the product if its power cord is damaged. NEVER repair the power cord. It must be replaced
with a new one at an authorised service centre. The product must be connected directly to a
single socket of the power supply. NEVER use extension cords, adapters or double outlets.
The mains supply circuit must be fi tted with a protective conductor and a 16 A protective
device.
Should any signs of damage to any part of the product be visible, stop using it. In this case,
the product must be serviced at an authorised centre.
Cutting blades and cutting plates have sharp edges. Special care must be taken when oper-
ating and maintaining these components. Due to the risk of injury, protective gloves should
be worn during operation and maintenance of these components.
Use only cutting blades, cutting plates and other accessories supplied with the product or
original accessories and spare parts provided by the manufacturer. NEVER modify the parts
to adapt the product.
The appliance is not to be used by children. This product cannot be used by people with im-
paired physical and/or mental abilities, or by people without experience in or understanding
of the operation of the product, unless they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of
the product, so that they understand the relevant operating risks. Children should not play
with the product. Children should not be allowed to clean or maintain the product without the
supervision of an adult.
PRODUCT OPERATION
Preparing for operation
The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging completely removed.
It is recommended to keep the packaging, as it can be helpful for further transport and storage of the product.
Check the product for damage. If any damage is detected, do not use the product until the damage has been repaired or the
damaged components replaced with new ones that are free of defects.
Clean the product according to the instructions specifi ed in the "Product Maintenance" section.
Caution! The elements of the cutting mechanism have been protected with grease for transport. The grease must be completely
removed before the fi rst use of the product.
Position the product according to the instructions above.
Make sure that the power cord plug has been unplugged from the socket.
Caution! Replacement of parts, adjustment or maintenance of the product should only be performed with the grinder unplugged.
The power cord must be unplugged from the socket.
Make sure that the grinding unit is assembled correctly. To do this, lightly loosen the fi xing screw of the cutting unit and completely
slide it out (II). Then unscrew the lock nut and carefully remove the feed screw, cutting blades and cutting plates from the cutting
unit housing. The correct assembly sequence for all components is shown in Figure (III). Depending on the product, there is a dif-
ference in the number of cutting plates and cutting blades. Cutting plates have a notch on their edge that determines their position
in relation to the cutting mechanism housing. Care should be taken to ensure that the notch on the cutting plate edge goes into
the groove of the cutting mechanism housing.
After assembling the cutting unit, tighten the lock nut and insert the entire cutting unit into the grinder housing and secure its
position by tightening the fastening screw.
Caution! Do not use any tools to unscrew or tighten the lock nut. Do not tighten the nuts too tightly. Check the nut tightness when
operating the grinder.
The product is ready for use.
Switching the product on and off (V)
The product has a rotary main switch and a motor on and off switch.
Turn the rotary switch to the position marked "ON (I)"; it will supply power to the grinder motor but won't start it. The motor is
switched on after pressing the on switch. The motor is switched off after pressing the off switch or turning the rotary switch to the
