Outdoor
Daily Timer
Instruction Manual & Warranty
Getting Started
1
Make sure the lamp or appliance is working, by plugging it into the wall outlet
and turning it on.
2
While it is on, remove the plug from the wall outlet.
3
The cover protects the timer 'face' from dirt and dust, and it 'hides' the operating controls
when not in use. You will need to open the cover when programming the time and settings, and
then you should always close the cover (water shield) after programming has been completed.
4
There are 48 non-removable pegs on front of the timer. Pegs can be pushed away or
towards center of dial. Make sure all pegs are pushed towards center of dial.
5
Holding the pegs, rotate the dial clockwise through at least one complete revolution.
Programming On/Off Times
1
Locate the time(s) at which you wish the lamp or appliance to turn ON and OFF,
paying attention to the AM or PM designation.
2
2. Each peg represents 30 minutes. Push pegs away from center of dial during
time periods when you would like lamp or appliance to be turned ON.
3
Push pegs toward center of dial for time periods when you would like lamp
or appliance to be turned OFF.
Setting Current Time
You must set the current time, in order for the timer to turn ON and OFF correctly
at the programmed times.
1
Holding the pegs, rotate the dial clockwise until the current time aligns with
the arrow, paying attention to the AM or PM designation.
Installation/Use
INSTALL THE CORD AND UNIT AT LEAST 1.4M (55.1") ABOVE GROUND LEVEL WITH
THE OUTLET RECEPTACLE FACING DOWNWARD. LET THE SWITCH HANG DOWNWARD
SO MOISTURE DOESN'T ACCUMULATE IN THE OUTLET.
1
To attach the timer to a wall, drive 2 screws into the wall, 1-9/16" (40mm) apart, leaving
about 1/4" to 1/2" protruding. We recommend that you use a number 6 panhead screw,
.27" (7mm) in diameter. You can use the template (Fig. 1) to mark the screw locations
on the wall. Make sure the screws are secure.
2
Insert the screw heads into the slots at the back of the timer, making sure the outlet is
facing downward.
3
Drive a third screw through the front hole on the timer (that is near the outlet).
This will secure the timer to the wall.
4
Plug the light or appliance into outlet at the bottom of the timer. Plug the timer into the
wall outlet. Make sure the lamp or appliance is set to ON.
Manual Override Function
You can override the programmed setting temporarily (i.e. turn the lamp/appliance ON when the
timer is set to OFF or turn the lamp/appliance OFF when the timer is set to ON.) There is a small
ON/OFF knob that can be turned clockwise, so that the dot • aligns with either ON or OFF.
1
When the lamp or appliance is OFF at the programmed time, turn the knob so that the
dot • aligns with ON. The lamp or appliance will turn ON.
2
When the lamp or appliance is ON at the programmed time, turn the knob so that the
dot • aligns OFF. The lamp or appliance will turn OFF.
WARNING:
