INSTALLATION
Before installation
• Remove all packaging material.
• Keep the appliance upright for 2 hours before putting it into operation. This reduces
the risk of a malfunction of the cooling system.
• Wipe out the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water and a cleaning cloth.
• The door can be opened from the left or right. By factory default, the door is
installed so that it can be opened from the right.
Installation
• The refrigerator is designed to fit into kitchen cabinets.
• The installation site should be dry and well ventilated.
• The cabinet should be stable enough to support the refrigerator even when fully
loaded. Use the front adjustable feet to compensate for small unevenness.
• Do not place the refrigerator in direct sunlight or near sources of heat such as
radiators, ovens or cookers. Direct sunlight attacks the surface coating, while very
cold environments can also have a negative impact on performance.
• Position the appliance in a way that the power cord is easily accessible.
• To prevent the appliance from heating up too much, make sure that the location is
well ventilated. The ventilation openings must not be blocked or covered.
Important notes on installation
The door seal of the wine cooler almost completely seals the appliance. Therefore, there
must be an air hole in the built-in cupboard. Heated air is discharged upwards through
a ventilation shaft on the rear wall of the built-in cupboard. The ventilation ducts should
measure at least 200 square centimetres in cross-section.
Important: To ensure the proper functioning of the appliance, the air vents must
never be blocked or covered.
