Parts are located throughout the shipping carton, including underneath the grill. Inspect the grill, parts, and hardware blister
pack after removing from the protective shipping carton. Discard all packaging materials from inside and outside of the grill
before assembly, then review and inspect all parts by referencing the parts list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt
to assemble. Shipping damage is not covered under warranty. Contact your dealer or Pit Boss® Customer Care for parts.
Tools required for assembly: screwdriver, wrench, and level. Tools not included.
- It is advised to review each step entirely before starting assembly on instructions.
Hardware combination involving a locking washer and washer should be installed with the locking washer closest to the

head of the screw.
- Tighten screws completely after all screws for that step have been installed.
1 Disconnect unit from power source when not in use.
Avoid using the shelves to move or lift the grill. The weight of the unit will cause the shelves to break, which is not

covered by warranty.
If the Flame Broiler™ main plate is on the base of the barrel, it is installed incorrectly. The flame broiler should sit at an angle,

with the left side sitting higher than the right.
1 Ensure the chimney cap allows for air to escape.
2 Both Flame Broiler™ parts are lightly coated with oil to avoid rusting when shipped.
3 When installed correctly, the Front Shelf can be raised (for use) or lowered (for storage) with ease.
When the Flame Broiler™ slider is open and direct flame is used during cooking, do not leave the grill unattended for any

period of time.
5 To maintain the searing and grilling performance of your cooking grates, regular care and maintenance is required.
6 Pre-installed hardware.
