4 .4 Connecting appliances

5 Cleaning

betterPacks are charged and operated with
electric current. Contact with live parts poses an
immediate danger to life.

Always turn off the charging/discharging
device before cleaning betterPacks.
•
Never immerse betterPacks in water.
•
Never use a high pressure water jet to clean
betterPacks and never spray water directly on
betterPacks.
NOTICE
Equipment damage due to aggressive cleaning
agents!
Using aggressive cleaning agents, solvents or
other chemicals for cleaning betterPacks may
damage them.

Only use a dry soft brush or cloth to clean
betterPacks.
•
Only use canned air or compressed air that is
specifically approved for cleaning or dusting
electronic equipment to clean plugs and
connections.

1. Connect the appliance with the charging/discharging
device.
2. Turn on the charging/discharging device.
3. Turn on the appliance and use it as usual. Always follow
the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the
appliance.
4. If you notice a problem with the appliance, switch off
the appliance immediately and disconnect it from the
charging/discharging device.
5. Contact the manufacturer of the appliance for informa-
tion on how to have the appliance repaired.
1. Clean the outer surfaces of betterPacks regularly with a
dry soft brush or cloth.
2. Check if plugs or connections are dirty and, if necessary,
clean them with approved canned air or compressed air.
3. While cleaning, check for visible damage. If you notice
any damage, do not use the affected betterPack and con-
tact the manufacturer see "2.4 If a product is broken"
on page 6.
