Battery/Use
NOTE: When you insert the battery make sure that the contacts are not bent.

Open the battery compartment with the spanner in the battery compartment lid in the direction of the
battery compartment and press the battery compartment cover , then the battery compartment slides.

Put the battery in accordance with polarity and labeling in the battery

Close the battery compartment , by clicking the two extensions of the battery compartment lid in the two
cutouts on the battery compartment .

Then press the skewer of the battery compartment lid into the hole at the battery compartment . The
battery compartment cover snaps in with a click.

If the remote control could not function, then check whether the batteries are inserted correctly and put
them again if necessary.

If all obove opption was conducted and the remote cotrol still no function,please reset the remote as
following steps.
Use
Remote control for awning connection(see Figure O)

Unplug the power cord from the awning outlet.

Press and hold down the
retract-key "RET"

Plug the power cord into the awning outlet and press the button
extension "EXT" and the retract-key "RET" continually pressed. A red
light appears for about 8 seconds on the remote and when the light is
extinguished, the remote control is connected with the awning.


Extend and retract the awning
The awning can be extended and retracted by a crank handle included in delivery or remote control.

1: Operate by handle crank:
Insert the handle in the loop that is fixed at the
awning. Open the awning by turning the crank
handle clockwise. By turning it
counter-clockwise you can retract the awning.
2: Operate by remote control:
Press the extension button
awning extension. The role moves up and the
awning will be extended.
Press the retract button
awning. The role moves down and the awning
will be retracted.
Press the stop button
extension/ retraction of the awning.
The awning's crank gear has no stop to limit revolutions of the roller tube. To avoid damage to the
fabric, therefore, the awning fabric must always be properly rolled up.
The awnings are intended as a protection against the sun only. It is not to be used during periods of
strong wind, rain, hail, or snow. In case of such conditions, retract the awning immediately.
