In order to avoid fire risks, the cooling air vents, cooling fins
and exhaust area should be free of grass, straw, moss,
leaves or grease.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance work described in this instruction
manual may be carried out; all other work must be
performed by an official distributor.
Use only VITO-approved tools for this machine or
technically identical parts. Not doing so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the machine. In case of
doubt, you should contact an official distributor.
For safety reasons, fuel conduction components (hose, tap,
tank, tank cap and connectors) should be checked
regularly to detect any damages and leaks. If necessary,
they should be replaced by an official distributor.
Keep the warning and indication stickers always clean and
legible.
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tightened so that the
machine is able to operate safely.
If components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance work, they must be replaced immediately.
In case of blades replacement, pay attention to the type of
knife and their combination, only versions authorized by
VITO are allowed.
Let the combustion engine cool before storing the tiller in a
closed compartment.
Do not store the tiller with fuel in the tank inside a building.
Gasoline steam may form and become highly flammable.
Keep the tiller inside a dry place, with the fuel tank empty.
If you intend to empty the fuel tank before the winter season
do it outdoors.
Clean the tiller very carefully before storing it and ensure it
is in an operational state.
Store the tiller with the spark plug pipe removed.
Make sure that the tiller is protected against misuse (for
example, children).
The tiller must be repaired only by the brand official
technical service or by qualified personnel and only with
original replacement parts.
Check the safety instructions. Remove the spark plug
pipe and wear tight gloves every time you need to
handle the blades.
Assemble and engage the traction and throttle spindles as
described.
Incorrectly
