1.5. Connected Functionality
Registered products with Connected functionality offer the user different,
additional, product-dependent functionalities such as: Recording of measuring/
pressing data (date and time of the pressing, counter 1 number of pressings and
operating time, counter 2 number of pressings and operating time, counter total
number of pressings and operating time, battery voltage, current strength on
switching off, maximum current strength, remaining battery capacity, internal
drive unit temperature, pressing time, pressure-time diagram, etc.) and creation
of reports with your own company logo, display of error messages, confi gura-
tion of the product (language, date, time, time zone, pressure unit, LED lighting
time and LED brightness, standby time, ACC drive mode, information signal
tones, etc.), set-up of usage bars (immediate bar or feedback interval as anti-
theft, time and date ranges for barring times, limitation of the number of perform-
able pressings), geolocalisation of pressing sites, conversion of voice recordings
into editable text, uploading and storing of pictures of pressings, display of
notices (annual inspection and periodic testing, new fi rmware version, battery
state, etc.), download and installation of new fi rmware versions.

Weighted effective value of acceleration
The specifi ed vibration emission value was measured according to a standard
test method and can be used for comparison with another power tool. The
specifi ed vibration emission value can also be used for an initial estimation of
the cut-out.
CAUTION
CAUTION
The vibration emission value may differ from the specifi ed value during actual
use of the power tool depending on the manner in which the power tool is used.
Depending on the actual conditions of use (intermittent mode), it may be neces-
sary to defi ne safety measures to protect the operator.
2. Start-up
CAUTION
CAUTION
After longer storage times of the drive unit, the overpressure valve must be
actuated by pressing the reset key (12) before starting up again. If this is stuck
or stiff, no pressing may be performed.
The drive unit must then be sent to an authorised REMS customer service
workshop for inspection.

2.1. Electrical Connection

WARNING
Caution: Mains voltage present! Before connecting the drive unit, the rapid
charger or the power supply unit, check whether the voltage stated on the rating
plate corresponds to the mains voltage. On building sites, in a wet environment,
indoors and outdoors or under similar installation conditions, only operate the
power tool on the mains with a fault current protection switch (FI switch) which
interrupts the power supply as soon as the leakage current to earth exceeds
30 mA for 200 ms.
Li-Ion batteries
Total discharging by undervoltage
The Li-Ion batteries may not drop below a minimum voltage because otherwise
the battery could be damaged by total discharge. The cells of the REMS Li-Ion
battery are delivered pre-charged to approx. 40 %. Therefore the Li-Ion batteries
must be charged before use and recharged regularly. Failure to observe this
regulation of the cell manufacturer can lead to damage to the Li-Ion battery by
total discharging.
