When both push buttons
resistance is switched to suppress inductive and capacitive
voltages (load test). Now the voltage steps for +12 V and
-12V could be ON.
The duration of the test with lower internal resistance
(load test) depends on the level of the voltage to be
measured.
Follow the safety instructions. Connect both test probes
to the test object.
• The voltage testers switch ON automatically from a
voltage of approx. 24 V.
• The voltage is displayed by an LED row
Beta also indicates the voltage digitally on the LC
display
• In the case of AC voltages the "+" and "-" LEDs are
ON simultaneously.
• The Voltage Testers feature an LED row with the
voltage indication 12 V, 24 V, 50 V, 120 V, 230 V, 400
V, 690 V.
• In the case of DC voltage the polarity of the indicated
voltage refers to the Voltage Tester test probe .
• When the two push buttons
internal load is applied and the 12 V LED could now
be ON additional.
• In case that 50 V AC or 120 V DC is reached or
exceeded, an audio warning by buzzer occurs.

Data Hold
When test probes are connected to energized circuit,
pressing the pushbutton
function is activated and reply with a short sound. The LC
display shows "the last measured value" and "---" flashing
in turns.
The hold function could deleted manually by pressing
the pushbutton 12 again. The data hold function is now
deactivated and reply with a short sound.
The hold function is automatically deactivated after
approx. 30 seconds and reply with a short sound. The
Tester shows, after deactivation, again the actual voltage
of the circuit under measurement in the LC display.
If voltages below approx. 12V AC/DC are measured data
hold is not functional. The tester shows then "---" and " - "
flashing in turns.
Under data hold mode, the LC display will only show
the last saved measured voltage value. No auto refresh
of LC display data under data mode whether the Tester is
connected to energized or non-energized circuit. The LED
voltage indicators
of the circuit under measurement.

Single-pole Phase Test

The single-pole phase test functions from an AC
voltage of approx. 180V AC.
During the single-pole phase test to determine
external conductors, the display function may be impaired
(e.g. with insulating personal protective equipment or at
insulating locations).
W
The single-pole phase test is not suitable to test for
absence of voltage. This always requires a two-pole
voltage test.
