Is a pre-filter required?
The unit does not require a pre-filter, although we do
recommend the use of one in all applications. If your
water has a high iron content, we suggest the use of
a pre-filter specifically designed to remove the iron.
Will the unit work with commercial washers?
The unit is designed for home use only, not for
commercial or industrial applications.
Is the unit only used with washing machines?
The unit was designed to specifically treat laundry
water. There are other suitable applications, such as
floor cleaning or pet bath, for which the Home Mount
can be used. The water in the unit is not designed
for drinking or ingesting.
What parts will need to be replaced in the unit?
The unit is designed to provide many years of
maintenance-free service. The only consumable is
the moisture filter. If, after a while, you notice a
decrease in the effectiveness of the unit, contact
your dealer or contact technical service.
Any prefilter that can be used in conjunction with
your unit should be replaced according to the
time/use
schedule
manufacturer.
INSTALLATION:
Can I install O3 Washer myself?
Yes! O3 Washer is designed to be simple to install
and use. It simply needs connected to a local power
outlet, the cold water source in your laundry room,
and the washing machine. It should take less than
20 minutes if your washing machine and water
source are reasonably accessible. Check out our

Can I use O3 Washer if I have city water / well
water / hard water / soft water?
Just like all of the appliances in your home, O3
Washer works best with filtered water. High mineral
content, hard water, and well water will lessen your
appliance's ability to function properly. If your water
recommended
by
quality is not adequate, we recommend purchasing
a pre-filter system or a water softener. This will
improve the performance of all of your household
appliances.
Without good quality water, minerals will deposit
inside of your O3 Washer plumbing. This will lead to
performance issues. There are ways to clean your
O3 Washer if this happens, so please contact our
support team.
Can I use O3 Washer with my washing machine?
Absolutely! O3 Washer is designed to work with all
residential washing machines, top load and front
load.
Can O3 Washer work with low/high water
pressure?
O3 Washer has been tested to perform well with
water pressure between 40 and 100 psi. If your
water pressure is lower than 40 psi or higher than
100 psi, you will need to adjust it.
Is O3 Washer easy to install?
Yes! O3 Washer is designed to be incredibly easy to
install and use. It simply needs connected to a local
power outlet, the cold water source in your laundry

Is O3 Washer environmentally friendly?
Absolutely. O3 Washer uses the natural gas called
active oxygen, which has no harmful effects on the
environment.
Additionally, using O3 Washer eliminates the need
for hot water, reducing your energy consumption
from the washing machine. Your drying time will
decrease as well, which also reduces energy. Lastly,
using O3 Washer means you can reduce your
laundry detergent to a quarter the amount or even
no detergent at all, decreasing the amount of
chemicals that go into your wastewater.
Overall, using O3 Washer is better for the environment.
