1 . Press the two lateral Isofi x connector buttons in order to extend the
length of the Isofi x connectors.
2 . Guide the Isofi x connectors to the Isofi x anchor points on the car seat
and snap them into place.
3 . Push the child car seat in until it rests securely against the backrest. En-
sure that both Isofi x indicators are switched to green.
4 . Put your child in the child car seat.
5 . Buckle your child in by closing the buckle of the 3-point harness until
you hear a click.
6 . Make sure that the lap belt runs underneath the two armrests along the
green belt guides. The diagonal strap must run above the armrest.
7 . Pull on the diagonal strap to tighten it. Make sure that the straps are not
twisted.
Installation without Isofi x:
Alternatively, the child car seat can also be fi tted with the 3-point belt only.
Attaching the seat with the Isofi x connectors is not absolutely essential but
is recommended.
Removal of the child car seat:
Loosen the Isofi x connector buttons on both sides of the child car seat until
the two indicators show red and remove the child car seat from your car.

Junior Isofi x with Belt Fix (FB-601-GFIX):
For the version with Belt Fix, additionally thread the green belt fi x on the
diagonal belt of the 3-point belt of the car. Adjust the length of the strap so
that it runs along the diagonal strap just above your child's shoulder. The use
of the belt fi x is optional.
Retrofi tting the Belt Fix to the factory version without Belt Fix (FB-601-FIX -
Junior Isofi x) is not permitted.
