4.4 - TROUBLESHOOTING
1. The unit may stop running or keep running safely if:

the LEDs keep flashing
-
on the display appears one of the following codes:
E(x), P(x), F(x), EH(xx), EL(xx), EC(xx), PH(xx), PL(xx), PC(xx)
Wait approximately 10 minutes; the problem may solve by itself.
If not, disconnect power supply and reconnect it. Switch on the unit.
If the problem persists, disconnect the unit from the power supply and contact the closest service centre.
2. Stop the air conditioner immediately is one of the following anomalies occurs.
Disconnect the electric power supply and contact the nearest after-sales assistance service.
Problem:
- The fuses blow frequently or the automatic switch intervenes often.
- Water or other objects have entered the air conditioner.
- The remote control does not function or functions anomalously.
4.4.1 - Malfunctioning
Do not try to repair the unit alone.
Malfunctioning
The unit does not cool or heat
the room well (only for cooling/
heating models), while air
escapes from the conditioner.
Cause
Incorrect temperature setting.
The air filter is clogged.
The doors or windows are open.
The air inlet or outlet vents of the
indoor or outdoor units are blocked.
Sunlight produces excessive heat.
Too many sources of heat in the
premise (persons, computer, elec-
tronic devices, etc.).
Low level of refrigerant due to leakage
or prolonged use.
The SILENCE function is active
(optional).
What must be done?
Set the temperature correctly. Consul
the "Using the remote control" chapter
for the procedure.
Clean the air filter.
Close the doors or windows.
First, remove the obstructions and
then re-start the unit.
Close curtains and windows during
the warmest hours or when sunlight
is more intense.
Reduce the sources of heat.
Check that there is no leakage, re-
seal the system and top up coolant
if needed.
