HUMIDIFIER MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Warning:
•
Make sure the humidifier is unplugged before carrying out maintenance.
•
Do not immerse the humidifier in water or any liquid.
•
Do not use abrasive, corrosive or flammable cleaners (such as bleach
or alcohol) to clean any part of the unit.
•
Clean the filter regularly.
•
If you do not use the humidifier for a long time, make sure the humidifier
is dry, place it in an anit-dust bag, and put it in a cool, well-ventilated
place.

To ensure good performance of the humidifier, please turn it on for a
few minutes from time to time.
If the water in your home is hard, that is, it has high amounts of calcium and
magnesium, it can generate white dust and limescale can appear in the water
tank, transducer and water reservoir. Lime on the surface of the transducer
can cause the humidifier to malfunction.
In order to achieve a more hygienic and purified environment, it is important
that all parts of the equipment that come into contact with water are clean.
Clean the tank regularly to avoid the accumulation of lime, this frequency will
depend on your use; for daily use, you should clean it at least once a week.
In the same way, change the water in the tank regularly if, with your usual use,
it is not used after a week.
If it has been stored for a long time there may be dust on it, therefore, clean
it before using it again.
Make sure the transducer found on the base of the humidifier do not
accumulate limescale.
If so, unplug the equipment and clean it using a cotton cloth to not scratch
the components.
