To avoid this, we recommend:

Changing the water in the tank frequently to keep it fresh.
4.
Making sure to remove the water from the tank and drying the water
tank if you are going to stop using it for a long time.
5.
Cleaning the entire humidifier and making sure all parts are dry before
storing it for a long time.
How to clean the transducer :
1.
Clean with water or vinegar if there is limescale.
2.
Brush the lime from the surface.
3.
Rinse the transducer with clean water.
How to clean the water tank of the humidifier :
1.
Clean the water tank with a soft cloth or use vinegar if there is lime in it.
2.
If there is scale build-up on the reservoir piston, add a few drops of
vinegar and let it take action for 2-5 minutes and clean it with a brush.
3.
Rinse the water tank with clean water.
How to clean the ceramic filter :
You should clean the filter taking into account the frequency with which you
use your humidifier. Water quality will also play an important role. Therefore,
check the filter often to see if balls inside contain dirt or lime.

To clean it, remove the filter from the base of the humidifier by
unscrewing it.
2.
Put it in a container with vinegar that covers the balls completely.
3.
Let it sit for about 5 minutes and then rinse it off with clean water.
4.
Finally, let the filter dry in sunlight for 4-6 hours.
