INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Vehicle Mounting
1. With the help of another person, install cargo basket into your 2"
receiver hitch.
2. Line up threaded insert in shank with 5/8 hole in hitch and install
the anti-rattle pin as shown in FIG 7.
3. Tighten pin until snug.
4. Install clip onto end of anti-rattle pin.
Important Note
If the cargo basket or cargo blocks the license plate, you can mount the
license plate directly to the back of the cargo basket using the two existing
holes in the rear panels (screws not included). FIG 8.
Care and Usage
1. Do not allow harsh chemicals, road salt, or mud to accumulate on
the product for an extended period of time.
2. Wash the product with mild soap and water only and use a non-
abrasive cloth after use.
3. The lock and hinges should be lubricated with graphite or similar
dry lubricant.
Loading
1. Lift the cargo onto the cargo basket. Place heavy, large objects on first
and evenly distribute the weight so that the most of the weight is in the
center of the platform. FIG 9.
2. Secure the cargo to the cargo basket. Make sure all bolts, straps,
knobs and locks are firmly attached and locked before every trip.
