Cause
• There is no power supply.
• Blown out fuse.
• The thermal switch is activated.
• The pressurestat is
malfunctioning.
• Power drop.
• Motor wiring in short or
open.
• Malfunction in the check
valve or pressurestat.
• Compressed air in the
cylinder.
• Wrong capacity of the
fuse, overloaded circuit.
• Malfunction in the check
valve or pressurestat.
• Voltage drop.
• The air filter is clogged.
• Lacking adequate ventilation.
• Ambient temperature is too high.
• Loose connections
(couplings, pipes, etc.).
• The drain valve is open.
• Leaks in the check valve.
• Excess of water in the tank.
• High humidity.
• The admission filter is clogged.
• Fault in the pressurestat.
• Use of excessive air.
• Loose mount knobs.
• The tank rubber base is not
installed or is worn.
• The drain valve is open.
• The admission filter is dirty.
• There is a leak in one of the
connections.
Troubleshooting
Solution
• Make sure the power cable is connected. Check the fuse - circuit
switch.
• Replace the blown-out fuse.
• Press the thermal switch button to restart.
• Go to a
• Check with voltmeter. Minimum voltage shall be 115 V
• Go to a
• Go to a
• Press the switch 15 seconds onto OFF position. Then lift to the
ON position.
• Check you are using the right fuse. Use a time delay fuse.
Disconnect other appliances in the same circuit or operate the
compressor using an independent circuit.
• Go to a
• Check with voltmeter. Minimum voltage shall be 115 V
• Clean the air filter.
• Move the compressor to an area with adequate ventilation.
• Move the compressor to an area with adequate ventilation.
• Check to detect air leaks. Use sealing tape in all the leaky connections.
• Tighten the drain valve.
• Disassemble the check valve. Clean it or replace it..
DANGER
DANGER! DO NOT DISSASSEMBLE THE CHECK VALVE.
FIRST, PURGE THE TANK TO RELEASE ALL THE PRESSURE.
• Drain the tank opening the drain valve.
• Move the compressor to an area with less humidity. Use a filter
in the air pipes.
• Clean or replace filter.
• Go to a
• The compressor is not big enough to satisfy the requirements of CFM
of the pneumatic tool you are using.
• Tighten all the bolts and screws.
• Install or replace the rubber base.
• Tighten the drain valve.
• Clean or replace the admission filter.
• Tighten the connections. Check to detect air leaks. Use sealing
tape in all the leaky connections. Replace damaged or broken
hoses.
