Prior to connecting the machine, blow out the pneumatic line and the hose. The hoses must not
have any kinks.
Pay attention that the line diameters are big enough and that there are no restrictions.
Control the flow pressure at the point of use. The flow pressure has to be adjusted
with the pressure regulator (see technical specification). Too low pressure decreases the output.
The hoses should not be more than 2 m long – loss of power!
The machine must be protected against the thrust caused by the output jet, in order to avoid
eventual skidding.
Flexible or stiff hoses can be mounted to both sides of the housing. To ensure optimal
performance for very long distances, several fans should be located at specific distances.
When statically installed, the machines can be equipped with flange connections for the
installation in pipes.
Furthermore several hoses can be connected by an adapter.
The air mover has no rotating parts, therefore corresponding safety precautions are not
necessary. In addition, it facilitates the cleaning of the whole fan.
Clean the machine before initial start-up.
Connection
Connect pressure hose (ID 19 mm) with screw or hose fitting at the torque coupling. Open
ball valve for the compressed air supply (mind the operation pressure).
Start
Actuate ball valve, machine runs. The volume flow can be adjusted by the operation pressure
(see technical specification) or at the adjusting knob item 11.
Information
The machine is equipped with a ball valve.
Operation
Only operate the machine considering the safety instructions and the maintenance instructions.
The machine starts by ball valve.
Caution
The operation of the machine at free speed is uneconomic and has to be avoided.
