Operating the Voice Gun
Unpacking the Voice Gun
After unpacking the unit, inspect it for damage that may
have occurred in transit. If it has been damaged, file a claim
immediately with the carrier, stating the extent of the damage.
Carefully check all envelopes, shipping labels, and tags before
removing or destroying them.
Operating the Voice Gun

megaphone, could be damaged by loud sounds. This can
occur from short exposures to very loud sounds or from longer
exposures to moderately loud sounds. For hearing conservation
guidance, refer to community, state, or local recommendations.
To operate the voice gun:
1. Press the trigger button and speak into the microphone.
Press the button only when actually speaking.
2. Hold the electronic megaphone with one hand. Do not place
your other hand around the mouthpiece. The unit has been
designed with a crisp response to increase intelligibility,
particularly when used under noisy conditions. If it is
operated in a small, empty room, a slight ringing sound may
be noticed.

controlled entirely by voice intensity. FOR BEST RESULTS
AND UNVARYING SOUND REPRODUCTION, YOUR LIPS
SHOULD BE IN CONTACT WITH THE MICROPHONE
HOUSING.
4. For maximum intelligibility and effectiveness, ensure that the
open bell side of the Voice Gun is facing those to whom you
are speaking.
NOTE: The volume is preset at the factory and normally should
not need to be readjusted. If and when necessary, it can be
adjusted by removing the rubber plug on the horn at the rear of
the handle and inserting a small screwdriver. Turning the control
