– Hold the parallel guide in this position and retighten the
left and right set screw (74) with the cross-head screw
driver provided (see figure
– Remove the parallel guide from the saw table.
– Screw the middle set screw (74) further in or out until it is
flush with the surface of the guide rail.
– Maintain the position of the set screws and righten all
screws (73) (see figure I5).
If the parallel guide can no longer be fixed to the saw table
after aligning, adjust the clamping force of the guide (71)
again (see "Adjusting the Clamping Force of the Parallel
Guide (see figure H)", page 47).

Pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any

work on the power tool.
To ensure safe and efficient operation, always keep
u
the power tool and the ventilation slots clean.
In order to avoid safety hazards, if the power supply cord
needs to be replaced, this must be done by Bosch or by an
after-sales service centre that is authorised to repair Bosch
power tools.
The retracting blade guard must always be able to move
freely and retract automatically. It is therefore important to
keep the area around the retracting blade guard clean at all
times.
Always remove dust and chips after working by blowing out
with compressed air or using a brush.
Regularly clean the lighting and laser units((34), (19))
To clean the laser lens cap (16) fully unscrew the screw.
Then, pull the cap out of the housing along the retracting
blade guard (20). (see figure h)
