Disinfection
Disinfection must only be carried out by
authorized personnel. Please contact
your local dealer or mobility aid centre.
During disinfection adequate protective
equipment must be worn, and the
instructions of the disinfectant manu-
facturer must be followed. The surface
of the rollator should be cleaned with a
soft cloth or sponge and an approved
chemical disinfectant intended for
use on acrylic paint. We advise against
disinfectant that contains chlorine or
phenol. Do not use heat disinfection. The
manufacturer cannot be held responsible
for any damage or injuries that might occur
using harmful disinfectant or disinfection
carried out by unauthorized personnel.
Inspection / Maintenance / Re-use
It is recommended that inspection and
maintenance are carried out regularly
(frequency is determined by how and
how often the rollator is used). Check
the following items: Frame, screws,
handles, handle tubes, brakes, brake parts,
wheels, seat and accessories. This also
applies when the rollator is to be prepared
for re-use. Please see detailed instructions
in this user manual about maintenance of
brakes and cleaning/disinfection. The rec-
ommended maintenance is not a require-
ment, and no preventive maintenance is
required provided that the rollator is used
as intended according to this user manual.
