ground.
We recommend that you use studs and that you drain your condensate on an all-weather surface (which can be covered
with gravel).
If one of these recommendations is not applied or applicable, we ask you to contact the manufacturer to check whether
the installation carried out or desired will not affect the proper functioning of your heat pump.

Hydraulic connection
The exclusive flow titanium heat exchanger of the pool heat pump does not require any special plumbing arrangements,
except for the bypass. (Please set the flow rate according to the nameplate). The water pressure drop is less than 10kPa
at the maximum flow rate. Since there is no residual heat or flame temperature, the unit does not require copper heat
dissipation piping. PVC pipe can be installed directly on the unit.
Location: Connect the unit in the pool pump discharge (return) line, downstream of all filter and pool pumps, and
upstream of all chlorinators, ozonators or chemical pumps. The standard model is equipped with slip-on fittings that
accept 32mm or 50mm PVC pipe for connection to the pool or spa filtration piping.
Strongly consider adding a quick disconnect fitting to the inlet and outlet of the unit to allow easy draining of the unit for
winterization and to provide easier access if maintenance is required.
Condensation: As the heat pump cools the air by approximately 4 to 5 degrees, water can condense on the evaporator
fins. If the relative humidity is very high, this can amount to several liters per hour. The water will flow down the fins into
the base pan and out through the barbed plastic condensate drain fitting located on the side of the base pan
This fitting is designed to accept a 20mm clear vinyl tube that can be pushed by hand and directed to an appropriate
drain. It is easy to mistake condensation for water leakage inside the unit.
Note: A quick way to verify that the water is condensation is to turn off the unit and leave the pool pump running. If the
water stops flowing out of the pool, it is condensation.
The choice of your heat pump must have been determined by a personalized heat balance in
order to be certain that its characteristics will correspond to your needs. The company can in
no way be held responsible for poor performance if its sizing has not been carried out thanks
to a personalized heat balance and if the conditions of use indicated during the heat balance
have not been respected.
Your heat pump must be placed outside and must respect the minimum distances of 3 m
without obstacle in front of the blower - 50 cm from the wall for the back and 15cm above the
