Important instructions
This product may be used by children aged 8 and above, as well as by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities or lacking experience and
knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the
product and understand the risks that may arise.
Children must not play with the product.
Keep the product and the mains adaptor out of the reach of children under 8 years
of age.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are
8 years of age or older and are being supervised.
Keep foil and packaging material away from children. There is a choking hazard.
The scope of delivery also includes small parts that can be swallowed. Ensure that
packaging material is not placed over the head or swallowed.
Only use the included mains adaptor and replace it with the item with the same
rating (model type HX-S6LV0501000) in case of a fault. The mains adaptor must only
be used in dry indoor areas and must be protected from moisture.
Repair of the damaged mains adaptor and charging tray is not possible. Should
these parts be damaged, discard them and replace them with accessories of the
same type.
Never leave the unit in the charging tray unattended when it is charging.
Do not use the device if...
... it has been dropped,
... you notice any visible damage to the unit or accessories, or
... the trimmer blade is damaged or broken as it can damage the skin.
DANGER from electricity
Keep the device, charging tray and mains adaptor away from moisture, water and
other liquids.
Never operate the device with wet hands.
Do not immerse the device, charging tray and mains adaptor in water and do not
rinse them under running water. If you accidentally drop the device in water, do not
use it again.
We recommend that you operate the device from a power outlet with a residual
current device (RCD) and a tripping current of no more than 30 mA for additional
protection. Consult a quali ed electrician for advice.
Only plug the charger into a properly installed power outlet with a voltage
corresponding to the "Technical data".
Ensure you can easily access the power outlet so that you can quickly unplug the
mains adaptor if necessary.
Fully unwind the charging cable before charging. Ensure the charging cable cannot
be damaged by sharp edges or hot objects.
