4. installation
This pump is intended for installation in domestic use:
- In places where there is a risk of flooding.
- In the sinkholes.
Keep free space around the pump so that the float switch can work without risk of being blocked (eg use a minimum 40 x 40 x
50cm sump). The pump is programmed for operation in a liquid that does not exceed 35ºC.
Before use, make sure that the evacuated water could be carried out without risk (check local regulations). Do not place the drain
on a road or other thoroughfare.
5. hose connection
The pump is equipped with a universal connector that allows the connection of hoses of different sizes indicated below:
1. Connection for Ø 13mm/15mm/19mm hoses:
• Cut the upper nipple on the universal joint at position "a".
• Screw the 25.4mm tap adapter into the universal connec-
tor.
• Connect a quick hose connector (for Ø13mm or 15mm or
19mm hose) to the faucet adapter, then insert the hose and
tighten it.
NOTE: Hose, faucet adapter, quick connect hose, and hose clamp not provided.
2. Connection for the Ø 25.4mm hose:
• Screw and tighten a Ø25.4mm flexible tube in the universal
connector without cutting anything.
• Fasten the hose with a clamp.
3. Connection for the Ø 31.8mm hose:
• Cut the two best universal joint nipples at position "b".
• Screw and tighten a Ø31.8mm flexible tube in the universal
connector.
• Fasten the hose with a clamp.
