6. operation
3. Push the float switch cable into the float switch lock.
Do not select a cable length that is too long or too short to ensure that the float switch can turn on and off properly.
The length of the cable between the float switch and the level switch lock must always be at least 10cm.
The shorter the cable length between the float switch and the float switch lock, the lower the connection height and the higher
the cut-off height.
Starting and stopping of the pump depends on the water level for the float switch.
WARNING!
In order to protect the pump from running dry, always keep the pump in a vertical position and check that
the float switch can move freely (that it is not stuck or obstructed by any object).
Check before commissioning:
• Check for any damage to the pump (especially to the power cord and plug).
• The height of the switching point "ON" and "OFF" must be easy to reach.
• Check operation in a barrel filled with water. Submerge the pump in the water and then lift it up a bit and put the float switch on.
The pump starts and stops.
• The float switch must not bottom out before the pump cuts out, or there will be a risk of running empty.
With the float switch, the pump automatically turns on when
the water level exceeds the connection height and the water
is pumped out
The float switch turns the pump off again as soon as the water
level drops below the cut-off height.
1. Place the pump on a firm surface or use a rope tied through
the handle. Make sure the float switch can move freely.
2. Plug the power cord into a power outlet
