4.1 TROUBLESHOOTING
Interventions must be performed by a qualified installation engineer or by a specialist assistan-
ce centre.
Effect
Ventilation switches on with a
delay with regard to new tempe-
rature or operating settings.
The appliance does not switch on
the ventilation.
Ventilation does not switch on,
even if the hydraulic circuit
contains hot or cold water.
The appliance leaks water while
operating in heating mode.
There is dew formation on the
front panel.

Cause
The circuit valve requires a cer-
tain amount of time to open and
therefore, to circulate hot or cold
water in the appliance.
There is insufficient hot or cold
water in the system.
The hydraulic valve
remains shut.
The ventilation motor is blocked
or burned.
The wiring is not correct.
Leaks in system connections.
Leaks in valve units.
Thermal insulation detached.
Remedy
Wait 2 or 3 minutes to open the
circuit valve.
Make sure that the boiler or
refrigerator for water are
operating.
Disassemble the valve body and
see whether or not water circula-
tion is restored.
Check the operation of the valve,
powering it separately at 230 V. If
it is enabled, the problem may be
in the electronic control.
Check the motor winding and
make sure that the fan can rotate
freely.
Check the electrical connections.
Check the leak and tighten the
connections all the way.
Check the condition of the seals.
Check the correct position of
the aeroacoustic insulators with
specific attention to the front
one, above the finned coil.
