Alternating current (AC)
connection
Make sure electric devices are
turned off before plugging them in!
Make sure all electric devices,
including
the
lines
connections, are in good condition
before connecting them to the
generator set.
Be sure the total load is within
generator rated output.
Keep the receptacle load current
within the receptacle rated current.
If the electric device is earthed, the
generator
set
must
earthed as well.
1. Start the engine.
2. Turn the ESC-throttle switch to ON.
3. Plug in to the AC receptacle.
4. Make sure the AC pilot light is on.
5. Turn on any electric device.
6. Turn the ESC-throttle switch to OFF before
increasing engine speed to rated rpm.
Operating principles
– Most motorized appliances require more than
their electrical rating for start-up. When an
electrical motor is started, the overload indicator
(red) may light up. This is no problem if the
overload indicator (red) goes off within 4 seconds.
If the overload indicator (red) stays on, consult
your Atlas Copco dealer.
– If the generator set is connected to multiple loads
or electricity consumers, remember to connect the
appliance with the highest starting current first
and the appliance with the lowest starting current
last.
– If the generator set is overloaded, or if there is a
and
plug
short circuit in a connected appliance, the
overload indicator (red) will light up. The
overload indicator (red) will stay lit for about 4
seconds. Then the current to the connected
appliance(s) will shut off and the output indicator
(green) will go off.
Stop both engines and investigate the problem.
Determine if the cause is a short circuit in a
connected appliance or an overload, correct the
always
be
problem and restart the generator set.
