the engine.
Press the throttle in until the lock button is
released.
Allow the engine to warm up for a few

Use
Start the engine and take hold of both
handles on the machine.
Position the machine vertically with the tip of
the drill bit in the location where you wish to
drill a hole.
Position your feet at a suitable distance from
the drill bit and make sure your balance is
good.
Press the safety switch (11) in with the palm
of your hand and press the throttle (8) in
with your ngers so that the drill bit starts to
rotate.
Releasing the throttle or safety switch will
stop the drill bit and the engine will idle.
Note! The drill bit will not rotate when the
engine is idling. If it is, you must reduce
the idling speed using the screws on the
carburettor. Only a professional should adjust
the carburettor.
Gently press the machine down so that it
drills into the ground. Do not place all of your
weight onto the machine to force it into the
ground!
Regularly lift the drill bit up to loosen
from it any earth being drilled away. Any
clay or stones stuck to the drill bit should
be removed before you continue drilling.
Remember to switch off the machine using
the on/off switch (8) before you touch the
drill bit.
