With the CHURROS MAKER™ you can make these delectable Spanish donuts right in
your own kitchen! Enjoy them traditionally with hot cocoa or café con leche (coffee with
milk), or dip them in chocolate, whip cream or fruit sauces. Be creative and have fun!

TRADITIONAL CHURROS
•
1 Cup Water
•
1 Stick Butter
•
¼ Tsp. Salt
•
1 Tbsp. plus 1 ½
Cups Sugar, divided
•
2 ½ Tbsp. Cinnamon,
divided
•
1 Cup Bleached All
Purpose Flour
•
5 Large Eggs
CORN MUFFIN CHURROS
•
1 (8.5-ounce) Box
Corn Muffin Mix
•
1 ½ Cups All-
Purpose Flour
•

Cup Sugar, plus
1

more for sprinkling

1 Tsp. Baking Powder
•
2 Tsp. Ground
Cinnamon
•
2 Large Eggs
•
1 Tsp. Finely Grated
Orange Zest

Cup Buttermilk

Preheat the CHURROS MAKER™ as directed.
Bring 1 cup water, 1 stick butter, salt, 1 tbsp. sugar
and ½ tbsp. cinnamon to a rolling boil. Turn heat
to low, add flour and stir with a wooden spoon
until a soft ball forms. Remove from heat.
Thoroughly stir in one egg at a time. Let dough stand
until it can hold its shape. (About 5 minutes.)
Transfer batter into a pastry bag and dispense or pour
batter into preheated wells of Lower Cooking Surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 5-10 minutes or
until golden brown and cooked through.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove churros with a wooden or plastic kitchen
utensil. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon in a
medium bowl. Sprinkle over warm churros.
Preheat the CHURROS MAKER™ as directed.
Combine the muffin mix, flour, sugar, baking powder
and 1 Tsp. cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in the eggs, orange
zest and buttermilk and whisk until combined.
Transfer batter into a pastry bag and dispense or pour
into preheated wells of Lower Cooking Surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 5-10 minutes or
until golden brown and cooked through.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove churros with a wooden or plastic kitchen utensil.
Combine the remaining 1 Tsp. cinnamon with sugar
to taste and sprinkle over the churros. Serve with
warm chocolate or dulce de leche dipping sauce.
