The water pumps should be placed as close as possible to
the water level to obtain a lower suction height, thus
reducing head losses.
If the installation is permanent, the multistage centrifugal
pump can be fixed to the ground using the existing holes
for this purpose.
They must be installed in dry places, safe from possible
flooding.
Make sure the pump is in a stable position so that the
suction base is not completely or partially blocked. It
should always be free of mud or any other dirt.
The inlet pipe must be resistant to shrinking and must
remain submerged to about 30 cm, in order to avoid the
formation of whirlpools and the inevitable resulting air
intake.
The couplings must be completely waterproof. It is
advisable, whenever possible, not to use curved or bend
pipes.
The outlet pipe must have a diameter equal to or greater
than the outlet nozzle of the pump.
Under no circumstances should the inlet and outlet pipes
be resting on the pump.
1. Screw the water inlet pipe onto the inlet nozzle (3);
2. Screw the water outlet hose onto the discharge nozzle
(5).
Both the inlet and outlet nozzles have 1" thread.
Multistage centrifugal pumps are designed for domestic
use, in your house or garden.
Overall, the centrifugal multistage pump can be useful
when you need to pressurize, lift or transfer liquid from one
place to another. Centrifugal multistage pump can be used
in various ways, such as sucking and pumping clean water,
being coupled to firefighting systems, delivering clean
water to irrigation systems.
Once you have read the installation and assembly
instructions, you can start your new pump. Do so by
following these instructions carefully:
▪ Check that the pump is safely resting/suspended at the
suction point;
▪ Ensure that the water outlet hose is properly connected;
▪ Make sure the mains voltage is 230 V / 50 Hz;
▪ Ensure that the socket is not damaged in any way;
▪ Ensure that no moisture or water can reach electrical
connections;
▪ Avoid running the pump dry. Fill the body with water.
1. Open all the shut-off valves on the inlet and outlet water
circuits;
2. Plug in the power cord (7);
3. Before pressing the ON/OFF switch (6), check that the
electric pump is primed/purged. If not, add water to the
body (2) through the filling plug (4);
4. Set the "ON/OFF" switch to ON position;
5. Check that the motor turns clockwise. This can be seen
on the fan cover side.
To stop the multistage centrifugal pump just press the
"ON/OFF" switch.
