Using Your SteamCraft Steam Iron
5. Switch on the iron and select the "MAX" temperature setting.
6. Mode Light will blink when the iron is heating up.
7. Mode Light will stop blinking and stay on when MAX temperature is reached.
8. Disconnect the Power Cord from electrical outlet.
9. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
10. Move Steam Knob to "Self Clean" setting.
11. Steam and boiling hot water containing scale and
mineral deposits will release from the soleplate holes,
cleaning out the steam chamber.
12. Gently move the iron back and forth until Water Tank
is empty.
13. Plug in the Power Cord to electrical outlet and set the
iron to "MAX" temperature setting.
14. When the Mode Light stays on, move the iron gently
over a piece of used cloth to remove any water stains
that may have formed on the soleplate.
15. Disconnect the Power Cord from the electrical outlet and position steam iron back
on its heel rest. Wait for iron to completely cool down before storing.
WARNING: Do not put vinegar or other descaling agents in the Water Tank.
WARNING: Keep skin/body away from the hot water and steam.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Disconnect the Power Cord from electrical outlet.
2. Use a damp cloth or non-abrasive cleaner to remove deposits from the soleplate.
3. Never use sharp or rough objects to scrape deposits from the soleplate.
4. Never use abrasives, vinegar or descaling agents to clean the iron.
HELPFUL IRONING TIPS
1. Sort out articles to be ironed according to the type of fabric. This will minimize the
frequency of temperature adjustment for different garments.
2. If you start ironing at a high temperature and then select a lower one, the soleplate
may take more than 2 minutes to cool down. To speed up the cooling process, press
the steam trigger.
3. Test by ironing a small, inconspicuous part of the garment if you are unsure about the
fabric type. Start with a low temperature and increase gradually.
4. Wait for 2 minutes when changing temperature settings. Temperature adjustment
needs time to reach the required heat level, whether it is higher or lower.
5. Delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, velour, etc. are best ironed with an ironing cloth to
prevent shine marks.
