Important Safety Instructions
cords behind walls, ceilings, soffits, cabinets or a similar permanent
structure where it may be inaccessible for examination. DO NOT use
with an extension cord. Use a power strip with integral over current
protection to supply power to the fixture.
7. Additional LED tape light lengths CANNOT be added.
8. DO NOT plug the power cord into the power source until installation is
complete.
9. Reattaching the block connector and corner connectors multiple times
may result in damage to the tape light.
10. LED strip light must be fully uncoiled when operating or it will result in
overheating of the LEDs.
Dimmer Instructions
DO NOT USE THIS FIXTURE WITH A DIMMING CIRCUIT. If dimmer controls
are present, remove them and replace them with regular electrical switches.
If a three-way dimmer is present, replace it with a regular three-way switch.
If unfamiliar with electrical installations, it is recommended a qualified
electrician do the installation.
Assembly Instructions
NOTE: Measure the cut length of the LED tape light carefully before cutting to ensure
that the block connector and corner connectors do not need to be repositioned
multiple times as this may affect the performance of the tape light over time.
1
Select a location for the LED tape light and mark it. Verify that the power cord
reaches the nearest power outlet and will reach the LED tape light. Thoroughly
clean the mounting surface with rubbing alcohol and allow it to dry. DO NOT plug
the power cord into the power source until installation is complete.

Before connecting any partial or full sections of LED strip light, remove a small
amount of the backliner of the adhesive tape (Fig. 3), then line up the polarity
symbols. To use the block connector, pry both cover latches open with a small
flathead screwdriver (as shown). Insert the tip of the screwdriver into the gaps
between the connector base and the latches and twist (Fig. 4). Once the latches
are open (Fig. 5), seat the LED tape light sections on top of the contacts. The
polarity symbol "+" is located on the LED strip light every 3.98 in. (100 mm) (Fig. 6).
All "+" are on one side. Line up all the "+" symbols on the LED tape light sections
being connected on the same side (as shown) (Fig. 7). One at a time, close down
on the latches until they are locked (Fig. 8) (Fig. 9). The contacts in the connector
will pierce the contact plates in the LED tape light to complete the connection.
NOTE: The block connectors may require the use of pliers to fully close and lock
the latches in place.

The kit also contains corner connectors for navigating a tighter radius than the
LED strip light can form to. Before connecting any partial or full sections of LED
strip light, remove a small amount of the backliner of the adhesive tape (Fig. 10),
then line up the polarity symbols. Pry the cover latch open with a small flathead
screwdriver. Insert the tip of the screwdriver into the gap between the connector
base and the latch and twist (Fig. 11). Once the latches are open (Fig. 12), seat the
LED tape light sections on top of the contacts (Fig. 13). The polarity symbol "+" is
located on the LED strip light every 3.98 in. (100 mm) (Fig. 14). Line up the "+" on
the LED strip light sections being connected (as shown) (Fig. 15). Close down the
latch until locked (Fig. 16). The contacts in the connector will pierce the contact
plates in the LED strip light sections. Repeat for the other side. NOTE: The corner
connectors may require the use of pliers to fully close and lock the latches in
place.
The LED tape light is designed to be cut, based on
50 mm (~2 in.) incremental lengths (Fig. 1), allowing
for cornering or a more custom install. The LED
tape light can only be cut on the "cut symbol" (Fig. 2).
Cutting elsewhere will damage the LED tape light.
Fig. 2
Once cut, the LED tape light can ONLY be joined
together with either the block connector or the
corner connectors.
