Lower both control levers, the splitting wedge will drop to 5 cm above the highest position of
the table.
b. Release either lever, the splitting wedge should remain in its original position.
c.
Release both levers, the wedge should automatically move to the highest position.
8) To set the stroke of the wedge actuator, proceed as follows:
a.
Move the splitting wedge to the desired position. The upper stroke position of the splitting
wedge should be approximately 3-5cm above the logs to be split.
b. Release the control lever or turn off the engine.
c.
Release the bolt (A) with the L wrench. Raise the adjustment rod (B) until it is stopped by the
spring inside. Tighten the screw (A).
d. Release both control levers or start the engine.
e. Check the top position of the splitting knife.
9) Place the log on the machine. Place the log vertically and flat on the support table. Make sure the wedge
and the support table touch the log perpendicularly at the ends. Never try to split the log at an angle.
Do not put the log across the machine. This can be dangerous and can seriously damage the machine.
10) Adjust the log handles (A) according to the diameter of the log to obtain the most comfortable angle for
the control levers.
