4. Install the cover (22) and the disc
fixing nut (23) in the fixing screw.
Tighten the nut counter clockwise with
the wrench supplied;
5. Remove the wrench from the
accessories holder;

CUTTInG-LInE HEAD (fIG. G)
1. Place the supporting base (21)
in the rotating screw on the cutting
accessories holder (18);
2. Insert a hex key or a screwdriver in
the supporting base hole and in the
cutting accessories support hole to lock
the rotating screw;
3. Tighten the nylon cutting-line
head (2) in the thread of the rotating
accessory counter clockwise;
4. Remove the wrench from the
accessories holder;
3.7 - InSERTInG THE nYLOn
LInE In THE CUTTInG HEAD
(fIG. H)
1. Press the fixing tabs and remove the
cutting head cover;
2. Remove the spool from the cutting
head and remove the line;
3. Prepare about 5m of nylon line and
fold it in half.
4. Insert the line in the spool holes
making sure that they have the same
length in both sides;
5. Roll both extremities in parallel,
one in each side of the middle tab,
clockwise (as the arrow on the bottom
of the spool);
6. Insert the spool in the cutting head
and fix both extremities in the fixing
notches ();
7. Insert the cover fixing tabs in the
cutting head. Make sure the cover is
well tightened;
3.8 - ASSEMBLInG THE
ROTATInG SHAfT TUBE In THE
COnTROL HAnDLE (fIG. I)
1. Pull and rotate the fixing spring of the
rotating shaft tube;
2. Insert the rotating shaft tube (5) in the
control handle (13). Simultaneously, fit
the rotating shaft in the control handle
shaft's hole;
3. Rotate the rotating shaft tube so the
fixing hole gets aligned with the fixing
spring pin;
4. Rotate and loose the fixing spring;
5. Pull the rotating shaft tube to ensure
that it is well tightened;
6. Tighten the rotating shaft fixing nut;
3.9 - ASSEMBLInG THE
ROTATInG SHAfT TUBE In THE
COnTROL HAnDLE (fIG. J)
1. Install the backpack (14) in the
support structure (7);
2.Tighten the fixing straps (6) in the
support structure;
3. Adjust the length of the transportation
straps in a way the equipment's weight
is equal on both sholders;
4. OPERATInG
InSTRUCTIOnS
When operating this tool, you must take
certain precautions and procedures
into account in order to avoid damage
and increase its efficiency:
. Make sure the unit is turned on more
than 3 m from the fuelling area;
. Always hold the device with both
hands and hold it the right side of your
body;
. Keep cutting accessories below the
waist level, to reduce the risk of being
hit by objects during the operation;
. Do not use the appliance to cut
branches or logs. If you try to cut logs
larger than the recommended size, the
unit may rewind and cause accidents to
the user;
. When the engine runs at idle speed,
the cutting accessory does not rotate.
If not, contact your customer service
to perform an inspection and solve the
problem;
. If you hear an unusual noise or if
the device vibrates abnormally, stop
working and identify the cause;
. Never use this tool without the cutting
accessories protection;
4.1 - EnGInE START (fIG. K)
1. Rotate the air inlet regulating button
(26) counter clockwise to close the
air;
If the engine is warm or the air
temperature is high, do not close the
air.
2. Press the carburetor pump (25)
several times until the pump is full with
gasoline. Check if the fuel tube is full; in
that time, the carburetor has fuel;
3. Set the "ON/OFF" switch (28) in (I)
position;
4. Hold the machine with one hand and
pull the starter grip (27). Pull slowly
until feel some resistance and then pull
quicker until the engine starts running;
5. After the engine starts, the tool is on
at idle speed;
6. After a few seconds, open the air.
Rotate the air inlet regulating button
clockwise;
When the starter grip returns to
its original position, the hand
and arm can be moved quickly towards
the combustion engine.
