Working step F 36 64 057 is changed as follows:
F 39 64 208 R
Fix exhaust-gas flexible pipe (1) to heater carrier
and silencer (4) with pipe clamps (2).
Arrange the silencer (4) so that the body shell is
not touched.
Copy the holes of the two retaining plates (5) onto
the floor pan and centre-punch.

In the interior, in the area of the holes to be
drilled, remove the radio wiring harness and
protect against damage.
Note the drilling notes on page 2 of the installation
instructions.
Drill through the floor pan at the punched places
with a twist drill 3.5 mm.
Redrill the hole for the retaining plate of the
exhaust pipe to the diameter required for the blind-
rivet nut M6 (normally 9.1 mm).
Redrill the hole for the retaining plate of the
silencer (4) to 6.5 mm.
Insert the M6 blind-rivet nut into the hole for the
retaining plate of the exhaust pipe and secure with
blind-rivet nut clamp.
From the interior, fasten spacer (3) with hexagon
screw M6x16 mm (6) and spring washer to the
floor pan.
If necessary, abrade the spacer a bit in order
to balance the inclination of the vehicle floor.
Fasten silencer (4) with hexagon screw
M6x16 mm (6) to the spacer (3).
Fasten exhaust pipe with hexagon screw M6x16 (6)
and spring washer to floor pan.
From the inside, seal the holes with body shell
sealing compound.
Work steps F 39 64 070 to F 39 64 072 are
changed as follows:
F 39 64 205 R
Place the bracket for the parking heater (1) against
the body shell as illustrated.
Measurement a
Transfer the holes (2) onto the body shell, centre
punch and predrill with twist drill 3.5 mm.
Then redrill the holes with twist drill Ø 9.1 mm.

the installation instructions.

Insert M6 blind-rivet nuts into the holes (1) and
rivet down with blind-rivet nut clamp.
F 39 64 207 R
Put on the bracket for parking heater (1) and fasten
with hexagon screws M6x16 (2) and spring
washers.
