Warning! During operation, this
electric tool generates an electro-
magnetic fi eld which, under certain
circumstances, may impair the func-
tionality of active or passive medical
implants. To reduce the risk of seri-
ous or lethal injuries, we recommend
that persons with medical implants
consult their doctor and the manu-
facturer of their medical implant
before operating the machine.
Further safety directions
• If the mains cable of this device is da-
maged, it must be replaced by the ma-
nufacturer or their customer service or
by a similarly qualifi ed person in order
to avoid hazards.
• Lay the extension cable in such a way
that it will not be caught by branches or
similar during sawing.
• Use a residual current device (RCD) with
a rated residual current of 30 mA or less.
• Follow the maintenance, control and ser-
vice instructions in this manual carefully.
Damaged safety equipment and parts
must be repaired or replaced professional-
ly by our service centre, unless otherwise
indicated in the operating instructions.
• It is recommended that a fi rst-time user
at least practice the cutting of logs on a
saw log or frame.
• Use only approved mains cables of type
H07RN-F, that are not more than 75 m
long and that are designed for outdoor
use. The wire cross section of the mains
cable must be at least 1,0 mm
roll out the cable reel completely before

• Warning! During operation, this power
tool produces an electromagnetic fi eld.
Under certain circumstances, this fi eld
may negatively affect active or passive
medical implants. In order to reduce the
danger of serious or fatal injuries, we
recommend that individuals who wear
medical implants should consult their
doctor and the manufacturer of the im-
plant before operating the machine.
• For sowing work on hillsides, always
stand in the area above the log. To
keep total control while sawing through,
reduce the pressure at the end of the
cut without loosening your grip on the
handles of the electric chain saw. Make
sure the saw chain does not touch the
ground. After fi nishing the cut, wait until
the electric chain saw comes to a halt
before removing it. Always shut off the
engine of the electric chain saw before
switching between trees.
• Dirt, stones, loose bark, nails, clips and
wires must be removed from the tree.
• Do not use the chainsaw without lubri-
cation and top the lubricant up before
the tank is empty.
• Use only the recommended lubricant.
