11. Description
The Bypass accessory can be used to manually select
one of two sources of incoming air supplying the VMI®
unit. This accessory is compatible with the VMI® range
(except VMI® URBAN and VMI® PRO).
Source B must be a direct outdoor air inlet.
Source A can be either an air inlet from a solar air heater
or another source of heat or cold. The Bypass is not
considered as a heating or air conditioning system.
Thanks to this accessory, heat or cold can be obtained
from a specific source.
Users can only control the Bypass using the wireless
switch provided.
12. Operation
Users can change the Bypass position using the switch
provided. Two positions are available.
▪ Users can press on the red side of the switch to
connect source A to the Bypass in order to supply the
VMI® system (Hot or cold or secondary source).
▪ Users can press on the blue side of the switch to
connect source B to the Bypass in order to supply the
VMI® system (Direct outside air).
