Operation
5.1
Switch-on / Switch-off

After the product has been switched on, it boots the most
recently stored firmware. This is the firmware version
that was loaded during the most recent update. Since
the network parameters can be changed, the settings
programmed most recently are used after switch-on.
In the event of an error (e.g. an update was incorrect),
the product will boot in the factory default setting with
the user network parameters. This boot process takes
significantly longer.
You press the reset button in order to start specialized
loading of the firmware. For more information, see "Reset
modes supported by the product", Page 33.

Driver software
The driver software enables customers to easily program
their own applications. In addition, example programs
demonstrate possible applications of the products.
The installation and operation of the driver software
are described in the User's Manual for Application
Development, see "Notes on reading the documentation",

Status and error messages
The product features three LEDs for status display and
eight LEDs for the status display of the slots.
The LEDs display the operating and error states of the
product, as well as the status of the slots.
