Please note!
– The pole 10 must run into the
sleeve 11 (see figure H). Otherwise
the sun shade could be damaged.
– If the sun shade is opened all the way,
fold the crank handle 8 back in (see
figure I and J).
Rotating the shade
(see figure K)
You can turn the sun shade around its
own axis. Thus, you are protected inde-
pendently from the respective position of
the sun.
1. Fold the lever 12 up.
2. Pivot the sun shade to the desired po-
sition.
3. Then fold the lever 12 back down.
Pivoting the shade
1. Turn the knob 13 anticlockwise
to completely loosen the gearing (see
figure L).
2. Tilt the sun shade to the desired po-
sition by hand (see figure M and N).
3. Turn the knob 13 clockwise until
tight (see figure L).
Closing the shade
Please note!
– The sun shade must be closed in the
event of incoming wind, rain or snow.
Damages occurring as a result of a fail-
ure to do so are not covered by the war-
ranty.
– When closing the sun shade, the cov-
er could get caught between the brac-
es. If this happens, please careful-
ly pull parts of the cover caught be-
tween the braces out.
1. If the sun shade is pivoted, put it back
in a level position (see "Pivoting the
shade").
2. Push the trip bracket 14 and pull the
arm down (see figure O).
Please note!
– Do not crank during the closing pro-
cess!
3. If the cover is caught between the
braces, carefully pull the cover be-
tween the braces out (see figure P).
4. Tie the sun shade up with the en-
closed tie strap 15 and cover it with
the protective sleeve afterwards (see
figure P).
Please note!
– We recommend using a stable
step-ladder when attaching the pro-
tective sleeve.
