CAUTION
GENERAL WARNINGS
• Each time before using the accessory, make sure that:
- It is in visibly good conditions;
- It complies with all safety work regulations concerning installation, periodic verification, maintenance and use;
• The accessory must be inspected and serviced regularly by competent people, to ensure its safe use. It must be checked
for any signs of corrosion or premature wear, depending on the working conditions.
• Make sure that all the people who have to use the accessory are properly trained, know all the functionalities and the operations
to be done with it, and are aware of all safety regulations and requirements.
• The accessory must only be used in full compliance of all safety regulations and standards applicable in the place of use,
concerning installation, use, maintenance and inspection of lifting devices.
• The accessory must be placed under the responsibility of a person who is perfectly aware of all regulations applicable in the
place of use, and having the authority to enforce the application of these regulations.
• The accessory must be installed and put into operation in safe conditions for the installer, in accordance with applicable
regulations.
• Beta Utensili S.p.A. declines any responsibility for the use of the accessory in any operating and fitting configurations other than
those described in this user manual.
• The accessory must be fastened to an anchoring structure having the mechanical strength required to support the working load
limit (WLL).
• While using the accessory, some obstacles may be found along the dedicated path and hit it or the slings and lifting accessories,
including its parts (e.g. chains, ropes and hooks).
• If several accessories are used to lift a load, a lifting scheme must be used, as defined and approved by a trained technician.
• Beta Utensili S.p.A. declines any responsibility for the consequences arising from the use of the accessory in combination
with other lifting devices of another manufacturer.
• The operator must continuously observe the load, to prevent any risk of snagging during lifting operations (up or down).
• The accessory, including its parts, must not be disassembled or repaired by unauthorised people. Any unauthorised disassembly
or repair of the accessory will release Beta Utensili S.p.A. of any resulting responsibility.
• The accessory must not be modified. Beta Utensili S.p.A. declines any responsibility for the consequences of any changes made
to the accessory, or removal of parts of the accessory.
• Beta Utensili S.p.A. will guarantee the operation of the supplied accessory, provided it is equipped with original parts and
components, in accordance with the specifications contained in this user manual. The replacement of original parts and
components with those of another manufacturer will release Beta Utensili S.p.A. of any responsibility for any resulting
consequences.
• The maintenance table at the end of this user manual must be kept up-to-date, like the maintenance manual, by a trained
person.
• When not in use, the accessory must be stored in a location that is not accessible to the people who are not authorised to use it.
• If the accessory has to be finally removed from service, all environment protection regulations applicable in the country of use
must be complied with.
• The operator shall ensure that he/she has a stable support before operating the accessory; otherwise, proper protection must
be provided.
• During use, the operator must not engage in any activities that could divert his/her attention.
• Before using the accessory, the operator must ensure that he/she has a complete view of the operation, and that the
environment is properly lit, to avoid injuries to people or damages to equipment.
• The operator should not leave a loaded accessory unattended for long periods; if this condition cannot be avoided, the operator
must ensure that this does not create hazards to people or equipment.
