2. When starting the engine immediately after refilling the empty fuel tank,
prime the fuel lines by pulling the starter cord several times until fuel is
visible in the line.
3. Move the ignition switch to the "On" position. Move the setting lever to the
center (start) position. The setting lever allows you to continuously select any
throttle setting between idle speed (lower stop) and the fully open throttle
(upper stop).
4. Place the device on a stable surface and press it down with one hand. Using
your other hand, pull the starter cord holder vigorously. If necessary, repeat
it up to 5 times. If the device fails to start, discontinue attempts to avoid
flooding the engine.
- Do not use excessive force when pulling on the starter cord holder.
- Do not pull the starter cord out completely. Do not make any sudden moves
as it may cause the pull cord to recoil and lead to sprains, bruises, etc.
5. When starting a cold engine, allow it to idle for about 2-3 minutes (move the
setting lever to the lower position) until it reaches the working temperature.
