3. GUARANTEE
There is 24 month guarantee on your fireplace which starts on the purchase date. All materials and manufac-
turing faults will be repaired free of charge during this period. The following rules apply to this:
1.
We emphatically reject all other claims for compensation including consequential damages.
2.
Repair or replacement of parts inside the term of the guarantee does not lead to a prolongation of said
guarantee.
3.
The guarantee does not apply if modifications have been made, after market parts have been installed
or repairs have been made to the fireplace by third parties.
4.
Parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as the gel can, are not covered by the guarantee.
5.
The guarantee only applies if you submit the original, dated purchase receipt and if no changes have
been made to that receipt.
6.
The guarantee does not apply if the damage is due to actions which are not in line with the manual or if
it is due to neglect or the use of the wrong fuel or fuel which is past its sell-by date. Using the wrong fuel
is dangerous*.
7.
The shipping costs of sending the fireplace or parts thereof are always at the purchaser's expense.
8.
In order to prevent unnecessary costs, we recommend that you always read the manual first. If this offers
no solution drop your fireplace off for repair at your dealer's.

Highly flammable substances can, for example, lead to uncontrollable burning which can result in a
raging fire. If this happens, never try to move the gel cans, but try to put the flames out using, for exam-
ple, a fire blanket. In emergencies you can use a fire extinguisher, but only a Type AB:E extinguisher, a
carbon dioxide or powder extinguisher.
4. SERVICE
The unit will be repaired at a PVG service centre. During the term of the guarantee the malfunctioning unit
is to be delivered to a service centre for replacement/repair accompanied by a purchase receipt/invoice which
clearly states the purchase or delivery date. After the guarantee period, repairs will be charged for.
