Cleaning
1.
Do not spray the device with water or immerse it in water, as doing so may result in
electric shock.
2.
Keep the handle, motor compartment and equipment clean.
3.
Clean with a damp cloth or brush.
4.
Do not use any cleaning products.
5.
Thoroughly clean the blade after each use.
6.
Wipe the blade with an oily cloth and spray with metal protective spray.
7.
After 8 hours of continuous operation, we suggest to take off the front cover to remove
wood chips and other impurities inside.
Blade lubrication
When the shears get used intensively, of after a long period of non utilization, check regularly
the lubrication of the gears of the blade. Follow the instructions of Image A and B.

Disassembly and assembly maintenance steps
General maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and replacement of the blades require limited
disassembly and assembly of your pruning shears. The cover is fastened to the pruning shears by
two screws. The centre bolt is secured with an adjustable nut that is locked in place by a toothed
washer. The nut clip is secured by a single bolt. By removing the cover, adjustment clip, nut and
central bolt you can access, maintain, clean, lubricate or replace the blades when necessary.

1. Remove the hexagon socket head screw in
the direction of number 1 in the image, then
remove the locknut and the locking screw.
Remove the adjustment clip bolt and toothed
washer.
