Backlighting

Battery change
Note
Without batteries, the device indicates
an applied voltage greater than ELV
value using an LED.
If the batteries are discharged, the battery symbol
appears in the display and if necessary, switches the
device off.
Replace the batteries immediately in order to ensure
the accuracy of the test values. At low temperatures
below 5 °C, the operability of the device can be
impaired. Use batteries that are specified for the
temperature range in which the device will be used.
Disconnect the test probes [1] and [5] from the

test circuit.
To open the battery compartment, undo the
■
screws with a screw-driver.

Close the battery compartment and screw the

lid back in place.
Environmental instructions
Do not dispose of this device with
normal household waste. Dispose of
the device via an approved waste
disposal company or via your local
authority waste disposal facility.
Observe the currently valid regula-
tions. In case of doubt, contact your
waste disposal facility. Dispose of all packaging in
an environmentally compatible manner.
Batteries:
Do not dispose of batteries in household waste,
do not expose to fire or water. Collect and recy-
cle batteries or dispose of with due care for the
environment.
Warranty
We provide a warranty for this Würth device from
the date of purchase and in accordance with the
legal/country-specific regulations (proof of purchase
through invoice or delivery note).
Damage that has occurred will be corrected either
by replacement or by repair. Damage caused by
improper handling is not covered by the warranty.
Claims under warranty can only be accepted if
the device is returned fully assembled to a Würth
agency, your Würth sales representative or an
authorised Würth customer service workshop.

We accept no liability for printing errors.
Spare parts
If, despite careful manufacturing and testing pro-
cesses, the device should become faulty, have the
repair carried out by a Würth masterService®
station.
With any enquiries or spare parts orders, always
quote the item number as given on the device type
plate.
