Tips and tricks
•
This unit has been designed to cook vegetables, meat and fish. Note: "light" margarine, in
addition to various vegetable oils (cold-pressed olive oil, thistle oil, linseed oil, wheat germ
oil, corn germ oil, sesame oil, walnut oil, hazelnut oil, etc.), are not suitable for grilling.
•
Check the internal temperature of the food being grilled with a meat thermometer.
•
Before grilling, leave the food to marinate for a certain length of time in order to make
it more tender and speed up the grilling process. Red wine, fresh papaya, pineapple or
grapefruit juice, vinegar, buttermilk and cream are examples of base liquids suitable for
making a marinade. Add various herbs and spices to enhance the taste.
•
Do not add salt to the marinade in order to not extract the water from the meat. The meat
should be completely submerged in the marinade.
•
Always make sure that grilled foods are fully cooked.
•
To avoid damaging the cooking plate's non-stick coating, use a plastic or wooden utensil
to remove the grilled food.
