FITTING YOUR MEGAMO BIKE
Your size* and body proportions* determine the frame height of your MEGAMO bike.
You will be particularly interested in having sufficient freedom of movement in the
crotch to avoid injury when you have to dismount quickly.
The choice of bike type determines more or less your body posture. However, some
components of your MEGAMO bike are designed to adapt to your body proportions
to a certain extent.
These include the seat post, handlebars and stem as well as the brake levers.
Since all adjustment work requires specialist knowledge, experience, special tools
and manual dexterity, we recommend that you only carry out a position check.
Ask your MEGAMO dealer about the seating position or modifications you would like
to make. There you can put your ideas into practice during an inspection of your
bike in the workshop.
After every adjustment or assembly, it is essential to carry out the short
inspection described in the chapter "Tests before the first use" and to test
your bike in an untravelled area.
