- Turn on the instrument with the ON/OFF key before positioning any weight on the forks (if the value given on the display is not exactly 0, reset it by pressing the
ZERO key).
- Press the MODE key to select the weighing mode in kg or in lb.
- Position on the forks a pallet or an empty container of the same type of that one that will need to contain the pieces that will be weighed.
- Press the TARE key in order to reset the display; now all the weights will be shown net.
Once the tare value has been entered the display will show the tare value in negative form every time the scale plate is unloaded. The set value can be used again,
cancelled by using the TARE
CALIBRATION
The pallet truck has been calibrated by the Manufacturer and this ensures an optimum precision and stability. However, if the user experiences an indication error with
the sample weight, he can fix it with the following procedure:
- Switch the pallet truck off and switch it on again by holding down the ON/OFF and TARE buttons. Once it has been switched on, release both buttons.
- Press the TARE button when -EnC- appears on the screen
- The screen shows the A/D points of the converter for checking the function of the cells. Press the ON/OFF button to continue
- CAL00 appears on the screen. Unload the pallet truck and lift the forks by approx. 5-10 cm
- Press the ON/OFF button to acquire point zero
- During the acquisition of point zero, - - - - - appears on the screen
- Once point zero has been acquired, LoAd appears on the screen. Load the sample weight on the pallet truck
- Press the ZERO button to enter the sample weight value. Use the TARE button to change the selected digit and the ZERO button to move to the next digit
- Press the ON/OFF button to acquire the calibration point
- During the acquisition, - - - - - appears on the screen. Once the acquisition is complete, the pallet truck will automatically return to the weighing mode
BATTERY OF THE WEIGHING INDICATOR
This transpallet is fed from a rechargeable battery with 40 hours of autonomy and it has a battery charger. It is necessary to recharge the battery every 40 hours of
use or each time the signal "LO-BAT" (low battery) appears on the display.
To carry out this operation is necessary to connect the connector of the battery charger to the proper outlet and the feed wire to a outlet of 220V/50Hz. The recharge
time is around 12 hours and the battery charger turns off automatically when the charge is completed. Avoid incomplete charge and never allow the battery to run
down completely in order to extend its life.
MAINTENANCE (20.7)
Maintenance and repair must be carried out by specialized personnel.
It is forbidden to introduce modifications to the fork truck as well as to use it when it no longer responds to the security
criteria.
After repairs the dismantled parts and the discharged products must be eliminated with respect to safety and environmental regualtions It is forbidden to use
inflammable products for the cleaning of the fork truck.
The spare parts supplied by the Manufacturing Firm are the only ones accepted as substitution parts.
A) LOWERING ADJUSTMENT (see fig.C):

B) OIL LEVEL (see fig.D)
Check the oil level every 6 months. Use hydraulic oil, excluding motor and brake oil. OIL VISCOSITY 30 cSCt at 40°C ; TOTAL VOLUME 0.3 l.
With the forks totally lowered carry out the following operations:
- Remove the protective oil pan from the tank (2) and the cap (3)
- If necessary add oil up to 20mm from the top edge of the tank
- Work the pump several times to let the air out of the hydraulic circuit
- Reassemble in the opposite order the cap (3) and the protection (2)
GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS (27.7)
The Manufacturer warranties products sold on the market in compliance with the terms and conditions provided for by current laws. In particular, the warranty is valid
for 12 months starting from the date of purchase of the product on behalf of the customer and user, as documented by the receipt of sale. To be eligible for the warranty,
the customer and user must present a document that clearly proves the date of purchase of the product. All repairs under warranty must be carried out by and/or
requested at a service centre authorized/certified by Lifter. No repairs may be carried out prior to authorised repairs, on pain of rendering the warranty null and void.
The Manufacturer will repair and or replace, at Manufacturer's discretion, any part that should prove defective within the scope of ordinary use, through a service centre
authorized by the Manufacturer. The Manufacturer reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the approval of warranty claims. Each product must be subject
to regular maintenance according to the documentation supplied and only original spare parts may be used. Any component replaced under warranty becomes the
property of the Manufacturer. All replacement components substituted under warranty will be considered a part of the original product and, consequently, the warranty
for such components will expire along with that of the original product. The warranty is not transferrable; therefore, any warranty claim must be submitted by the original
owner. The warranty is limited to the replacement of parts (and the cost strictly tied to replacement) that have presented a manufacturing defect or assembly fault. The
warranty does not cover any other liability and/or obligation as regards additional expenses, as well as direct and/or indirect damage or losses due to both total and
partial use and/or impossibility of use. The warranty on original spare parts is valid for 6 months starting from the date of purchase on behalf of the customer and user,
as documented by the receipt of sale. Repairs carried out during the warranty period are to be considered ex reseller or ex the authorized service centre closest to the
customer's office. The product must be submitted at the location where the warranty may be claimed, free of alterations and devices and/or accessories installed, with
the exception of those already present at the moment of sale.
This warranty does not cover:
A) Defects caused by contaminated oils or fuels, or those due to the use of inappropriate fuels, oils or lubricants.
B) Packaging or transportation costs relative to the warranty claim.
C) Products that have been modified or altered without prior written authorisation on behalf of the Manufacturer.
D) Defects due to, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, accidents, improper use, abuse, negligence, improper installation and use.
E) Collisions, fires, floods and/or other accidental events, including those geological or atmospheric events.
F) Costs due to delays in repairs or replacement of defective parts or rental of equipment used during repairs.
APPENDIX - Extensions to the Warranty
"GS" & "PREMIUM" series Pallet trucks
The warranty period for "GS" and "PREMIUM" series pallet trucks for the customer user is 36 months starting from the date of purchase for all parts excluding materials
subject to wear. The date of purchase is that which appears on the receipt of sale.
Batteries: Batteries are considered as wear components, subject to maintenance and operation instructions described
on user manuals. Warranty voids in case of user manual instructions are not punctually applied on batteries
The Manufacturer excludes all other warranty conditions, terms, representations and undertaking whether express or implied. This warranty may be modified only by
the Manufacturer, in writing. This warranty entails specific legal rights, as well as other rights that may vary from one country to another.
