PRECAUTIONS TO BE OBSERVED BEFORE USING
• Check that the correct voltage is marked on the data panel on the base of the appliance.
• Before using rinse the parts which will come into contact with food under running water.
• Do not put the base containing the motor into water or into other liquids. To clean this part
use a damp cloth and then dry.
• Before assembling and/or disassembling the appliance check that the plug has not been
inserted into the socket.
• Handle the rollers with care because they are sharp and could cause injury.
USE
- Assemble the hopper (2) onto the base (1) containing the motor.
Then fit the desired roller onto the hopper (2) and, while pressing it onto the clutch (3), rotate it
counter clockwise 1/4 of a turn until it stops (fig. 1).
Moreover, depending on the kind of food you wish to cut, the food funnel (E) could be useful. This
allows you to better direct the food without spilling.
Insert the food funnel (E) paying attention that the indication marked on the funnel corresponds
with the one marked on the hopper (2). Rotate the food funnel (E) clockwise until it stops, as
indicated by the arrow (fig. 2).
- Insert the plug into the power point, press the on/off switch (5) to switch on the appliance.
- While using the appliance we advise using the spatula (7) provided to assist the delivery of
chopped food (fig. 5).
- Always use the provided presser (4) to push the food into the hopper.
WARNING: never use your hands or any objects other than the provided presser (4).
IMPORTANT: do not press the presser too hard (4) to prevent the motor from slowing down and/or
the rollers from getting mixed.
AFTER USING
- Disconnect the plug from the power point.
- Disassemble the appliance by rotating the food funnel (E) counter clockwise and then lifting it.
With the motor switched off rotate the indented metal ring placed at the extremity of the roller by
using the spatula (7) as shown in fig. 3.
- Pull the hopper outwards and then remove the roller (fig. 4)
The rollers are marked with an identifying letter:
A) Roller for thin slices
B) Roller for thick slices
C) Roller for cutting julienne style
D) Roller for cutting undulated slices
E) Food funnel
