Visual inspection
Note: Make sure that the marks (M) on the sliding segments (C) and
the shells (D) form a line in the starting position. (Only press
chains in the metal area)
If this is not the case, have the press chains checked.
Inspection: Every 12 months.
The device, the pressing jaws and the clamping loops are only for
compressing pipes and fittings.
All other applications are considered unintended use.
The manufacturer bears no liability for any results therefrom.
Maintenance: We recommend that repairs be done only by our authorized
service facilities.
Have your jaw checked at the latest 1 year after the purchase
or after 10,000 pressings (according to which occurs first) by
an authorised ROTHENBERGER testing centre, and repeat these
checks at the latest 1 year or another 10,000 pressings after the
previous inspection. During jaw inspection the jaws are checked
for operating and functional safety and wear parts (e.g. springs)
are exchanged. Jaws which are functionally and operationally
safe are returned to you.
Attention:
The nominal width and the pressing contour of the fittings must
match the nominal with and contour of the press chain.
Non-compliance leads to incorrect compression. Follow the
fitting manufacturer's assembly instructions.
