WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or seri-
ous injury.
Electrocution hazard (only for powered blinds)
• Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
• If the power cable for this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified or competent person in
order to prevent safety hazards.
• Inadequate repairs may cause serious hazards.
• Disconnect the blind from the power supply before carrying out any mainte-
nance.
Health hazard
• This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
• Children shall not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without super-
vision.
• Blinds should be stowed before maneuvering to ensure no restriction of the
driver vision.
• Only for powered blinds:
– Do not fit powered blinds to escape hatches.
– Modification of the design or configuration of the equipment without
express permission of the manufacturer may create a dangerous situation.
– Do not allow children to play with the control device of the internal blind.
Keep remote controls away from children.
– Frequently examine the installation for signs of wear or damage to cables.
Do not use if repair is necessary.
Suffocation hazard
• This device contains small parts. Keep it away from children under 3 years.
• The packaging includes plastic bags. Keep them away from children under
3 years.
